NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit is undertaking a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) on behalf of Coventry City Council. What is a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)? A PNA is a document produced to understand how pharmacy services are being utilised i.e. mapping out the current provision against local needs. This process will help us identify any gaps and make recommendations about areas that need further improvement. The exercise includes a survey about an individual’s experience with their local pharmacy, the results of which will help inform the PNA (questionnaire available from reception at The Recovery Partnership, Coventry).
